Candidate ยท Wards 9 & 10

Meet Janice Gordon-Daniels

Community advocate, entrepreneur, and candidate for Brampton City Council on October 26, 2026.

Leadership with purpose

My name is Janice Gordon-Daniels, and I am proud to introduce myself as a candidate running for City Council in Wards 9 & 10.

I am running because I believe our community deserves leadership built on Truth, Trust, and Transparency. Residents deserve to be heard, respected, and represented with integrity. Your concerns matter, and your voice must be reflected at City Hall.

As I speak with constituents, I continue to hear concerns about community safety and security, homelessness, rising property taxes, misuse of taxpayer dollars, lack of accountability, and the need for stronger transparency in decision-making. These are real issues affecting families, seniors, homeowners, tenants, small businesses, and vulnerable members of our community.

My vision is to help build a community where residents feel safe, where taxpayer dollars are used responsibly, where City Hall is accountable to the people, and where every resident has a meaningful voice in shaping the future of Wards 9 & 10.

I believe elected officials must be visible, accessible, and accountable not only during election time, but throughout their entire term.

The team

Behind every candidate is a community.

Janice and a small team of Wards 9 & 10 residents are knocking doors, planning meet-ups, and answering to neighbours together. Want to join them? Sign up to volunteer.
